BLACKSTRING (Puppet Theatre)
This show with it's huge range of marionettes is the only real-to-life stage production in Perth. Worked by strings from above the puppets which have been lovingly hand carved spring to life bringing joy and laughter to audiences wherever they perform. With an incredible range of characters such as Cher, Mark Knopfler, Bellydancer, Trapeze and Magician, all performing on a wonderful stage setting. Suitable for adult and children's entertainment the show runs for 40 minutes and is ideally suited for agriculture shows, shopping centres and school workshops. See Photo's

FREO SAMBA..........Percussion & Performance Group
This Fremantle based drumming group is led by percussionist Paul Barrett. If you invite this Carnival outfit to your School or Festival your life may never be the same. The costumes, face paint, whacky charactors and thumping Samba beat are sure to move masses during festival activities and additionally amuse and amaze students at school workshops

BELLA MUSIC (Flute & Veg)
Flute 'n' Veg have been described as "a couple of fruit loop with class". From corporate functions to festivals across Australia their finely tuned and sculptured carrot instruments a peel to all ages !
Bella Music Duo and trio - or more - can create the atmosphere to perfectly suit your desire. On stage or as wandering minstrels, playing up tempo beats from Central America and singing tantalising music from the Andes Mountains in South America to the vineyards of Italy and rhythmic pulse of Africa.

 

GEOFF BUSS
One of Australia's best known Street Theatre performers, great for Workshops where Geoff can perform, Fire Acts, Juggling Knives, Tall Unicycle Stunts, Balancing Acts. Along with his comedy and natural ability to get people involved, Geoff will keep you entertained with his bag of tricks

MR FUMBLES
Ideal for school workshops, Mr Fumbles performs magic tuition for children, puppet making workshops, arts & crafts, story telling, ventriloquism & is also a singer guitarist amongst his many other talents. His other character Tricky Dicky the Magician can be viewed on the magicians page.
ARTWORKS

that is taking Australia by storm"

SHOWS: Artworks has school shows that run for approximately 45 minutes. There are different shows for different age groups, and kindegarten to year 12 is catered for. These shows concentrate on empowering and inspiring young people to take the initiative and set their mind on personal goals, while simultaneously teaching social skills.

WORKSHOPS: These cater for a maximum of 40 students per workshop . They run fpr 1 1/2 hours and are the ultimate follow-up to the show, developing the skills that are introduced in the show. Children get hands on experience in painting, movement, dance, choreography and working together. Children leave the workshop with developed social and artistic skills. This workshop is especially useful for increased interaction with students who may not have previously gotten along

Artworks has a very good reputation with schools, and has performed at over 80 Western Australian schools in the past 18 months. Artworks shows are aimed at increasing children's love of art, as well as developing their self esteem and behaviour.
The themes dealt with in the shows are Racial Unity, Gender Equality, and Virtues.


Artworks has worked with members of the Curriculum Council to develop shows along the lines of the new curriculum and the 5 core values.
